Gareth Southgate names 28-man squad for England's Wembley ...

England manager Gareth Southgate has named a 28-man squad for November’s games with USA and Croatia at Wembley.

The Three Lions take on the Stars and Stripes on Thursday 15 November, a match that has been dedicated to the Wayne Rooney Foundation and will also see the former England captain earn his 120th, and final, cap.

Three days later, it’s the final group game in the UEFA Nations League when Zlatko Dalic’s team are in town for what will be the third clash between our two nations in just a few months following the World Cup semi-final in July and October’s Nations League game in Rijeka.

And Southgate has handed a first England senior call-up to AFC Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson, who was previously capped at U21 level in a game against France under Southgate four years ago.

There’s also a return to the squad for defender Michael Keane, whose form with Everton this term has seen him back in the group for the first time since last October.

The likes of Fabian Delph, Dele, Jesse Lingard and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are also back in the squad after missing out of last month’s games through injury.

Rooney is named in the squad too, but will only feature in the USA game.

Southgate and his staff will also be joined by Brighton & Hove Albion's first team coach Paul Nevin, who will support the coaching staff for both of this month's games.

Why not come along to cheer on the Three Lions in what will be their final games of a memorable year?
